About this cartoon: Election Day had not yet produced a clear winner (Joe Biden was leading Donald Trump) but at the time this cartoon was drawn it was clear that America was deeply and very bitterly divided between competing realities and sides that wanted nothing to do with one another, each seeing the other as unhinged and dangerous to democracy itself.
